Comparing them to the PaperMate
I was pleasantly surprised to discover Bic’s color mechanical pencils, as I didn’t even know they existed. Having previously used the PaperMate ones, I was curious to see how Bic’s pencils compared.
Here’s what I found: Bic’s color pencils are thicker, though I did encounter an issue with the red one, as the lead kept breaking. In terms of erasing, Bic’s pencils perform almost on par with PaperMate’s. However, I feel that PaperMate may have a slight edge in this area.
I’ve attached some pictures for reference, so you can judge for yourself. Overall, I like Bic’s color mechanical pencils just as much as the PaperMate ones!
