good shredder
The shredder works well and is quieter than my previous shredder. It does not make my 2 cats run out of the room. I had accumulated a bunch of papers that need shredding, so I’ll need to get caught up in fairly small batches to avoid overheating or jamming the shredder, but I expected that based on the description. Once I’m caught up, it will be more than adequate for my normal needs.

Great Safety Asset
I have only used this shredder a few times since receiving it but so far so good! It is louder than my last one but that doesn’t matter to me. I am simply grateful for the added protection as my last shredder wasn’t a cross-cut one. The basket is the right capacity for my home office and the handle will make emptying it easier. For my convenience I leave it on “Auto” so it’s always ready to shred. Oh, and it looks good too! 😊

I really like this shredder. The waste basket holds a lot of shredded paper. I didn’t shred 12 sheets at a time though. I thought maybe it might put too much strain on it. It shredds pretty quickly and it’s not that loud. I have a lot of paperwork to shred so we’ll see how it holds up. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

small but powerful
I love my shredder, even tho it is quite heavy when picked up to empty. But it is efficient, not too noisy, and roars when full, so I keep a larger container to empty the shredded stuff.
Overall, an excellent buy, and by golly can shred up to 10 sheets at a time l

The Best Bonsaii Shredder Ever!
Esthetic wise it’s black and sleek with a nice size shred container. The container surprise me as to how tall it was, because that is what I needed. I like that it is not loud while shredding the papers. Sleek and slim alouds the bonsaii shredder to fot in small places. Also, on the front of the shred container is a widow so that you see how high the shredded paper is. The controls are: Forward, Auto, Off, and Reverse, and an Overheat light instructing you to wait 30 mins. before using again. I really like this Bonsaii Shredder. This is my review, I hope you enjoyed it!

Works very well and shredded 7 years of paper work so fast. I really like the safety feature that when you remove the shredder from the bin, it automatically stops and wont resume shredding until the top is placed back on the bin.

Keep your duct tape handy
This shredder itself works well as expected. Unfortunately, the basket was buckled inward and the window partially disconnected when I unpacked the unit. I managed to re-connect the window and have taped it with some duct tape to hold it in place.. When I push the buckled area out into its correct position, it immediately pops back into its buckled state. I guess it will be okay as long as I don’t run out of duct tape.

It’s ok for those with limited shredding needs
For the home user with occasional shredding needs this will do the job. For even a small office though, this is not robust enough. Even the factory’s rating of 12 sheets will barely work. Even if it did, the shredder will be slow and the mechanism sounds strained. A more realistic rating is 8 sheets and only for very light home use.
It’s crosscut which is the type of shredding one needs not tge long strips which don’t protect your confidential documents. It’s is small too – only about 24” high.
I’m going to keep it, as the price is very reasonable but keep in mind that when you empty the shredding bin you will want to unplug the device as the blades are dangerously exposed on the lower portion of the removable top. Yes there is a safety mechanism, but do you want to take chances?
Bottom line – a limited recommendation. If you want a budget device and just need to shred a few things, this works. But don’t set your expectations too high.

Said it would shred up to 12 pages but it barely does 3 so we do 2 pages. Makes it a long process. And over heats quickly. Disappointed but using til it doesn’t work any more.
