I love everything about these pencils!!
I’ve always been a Crayola nerd. Finally decided to splurge and get the big box. I love drawing cartoons and coloring in adult coloring books. These pencils are perfect! There are so many colors! Many are similar in shade and make shading and blending colors so easy! The quality of Crayola is unmatched!

Wonderful Assortment
great that added 8 new colors in Color of the World Collection AND 6 new regular colors. Was hoping for some metallic or neon pencils but will have to get those separately. Love the way boxed in 10 boxes of 15 each.

This is my second purchase of these pencil colors. I purchased one for my art box for my grands to use at my home (two live with mom at my home). When I visited my son, one of his daughters asked if she could keep the box. I ordered the second box for their art box that I’m putting together for them for Christmas. Beautiful selection of colors.

If you want all the colors, you might want to grab the color of kindness, metallics, %26 the limited edition re-release of discontinued colors.
When I opened the box, it was neat and organized into separate boxes. I compared them to their past set of 100 I purchased a few years ago. Some of the barrels were noticeably crooked or cracked down the middle, and I had a couple with the paint flacking off or had small bits stuck on them painted over, some looked kind of dusty out of the box. I know these are affordable and meant for kids, although adults use them too when they don’t want to use their more expensive pencil brands. I was a bit bummed because Crayola seemed to have better quality control in the past. Also, some of the leads look different compared to the same colors from the set I have. They appear dark looking at them, while the ones from the other set look bright and match the barrel. Some of them felt scratchier, maybe a tad less pigmented than the other set I have?
Overall, I didn’t have issues with the rest of the set, and it’s a nice addition to what I already have for backup colors.

I love the variety of colors!
I love the variety of colors! I would have given 5 stars, but my pack had some colors missing and doubles of others. I think it was just a mix up, but it was disappointing to be missing all the blues and have doubles of all the pinks.

Not so satisfied
Several of the leads were broken, picture not so good because I went ahead and sharpened them – the leads were completely broken off. I’m enjoying the neat new colors but was disappointed with the way they arrived – box in very bad shape, had to completely re-tape the whole box to keep them neatly organized in the box

Whatever happened to crayola?! I was so excited when I could afford the 150 count colored pencils. I had some a few years ago and loved them. The first time I used them, I ground my favorite color down halfway, trying to sharpen it. The lead kept breaking. It actually broke my sharpener. Now, I am trying to sharpen with little hand sharpeners. It is next to impossible. Whatever was done to them. completely ruined them. I am really disappointed!

Wish they’d been handled better
The box that the colored pencils came in was damaged at the bottom. I discovered this when pulling them out of the delivery box and the colored pencil sleeves tried to drop out of the bottom of the package. All pencils were accounted for but not all of them were well sharpened.

Nice color selection; Poor quality
The product has a nice selection of colors. Some of the leads are brittle and crumble easily, requiring frequent sharpening. Most of the pencils are difficult to sharpen because the wood splinters and/or cracks… not the quality I expect from Crayola.
