Old school and still the same LOVE IT
Great for curls I wore this the entire summer. It made sure my curls were popping all summer long. My hair has also grown significantly which was actually unexpected. I thought about curls and went old school!!! Dippity-Do is still the same. I Love it, try it if you want cute curls that last. I wish I had photos but unfortunately I don’t. However next summer I’ll make sure I take some with each style. Oh and I’m a black woman.

Fantastic firm hold gel!!!
REALLY great product. It says light hold but it’s more so a very firm hold. It can definitely last for a week. I absolutely love it!!!

This gelee is a must for curly girls. It holds a curl with little crunch. It’s great for 2nd and 3rd day hair too. my daughter with wavy hair uses it as well and the volume and shift gold it gives her is amazing. love it!

Miraculous stuff for high-maintenance curls!
My 4c, low porosity curls stayed poppin’ for about a week (7 days). My hair feels soft and moisturized after two, back-to-back applications (one should be enough next time) where I finger combed and coiled. It only flaked a little bit but that’s because I used too much at once and is not too crunchy once it dried. I did very little to keep the definition accept wear a bonnet and finger-fluff daily. Can’t keep my fingers out of my hair!

Most of the employees up front could not give me the correct direction to the rear corner of the store (given a real hassel … games).
Got to the back and the service was very good and fast.
When leaving the store … the game players were nowhere to be found.

its not the Dippity Doo from the 1960s. its still a great product for defining curls. theres virtually no fragrence and thats a good thing. the price is far below other products I’ve tried and that’s another good thing. i will definitely buy again.

smells like strawberries and holds fairly well. my hair still won’t hold shape through more than an hour, but i think that’s a “me” problem. it’s easy to use and i adore the scent.

i was expecting the dipty do i used years ago, it was pretty pink, nice smooth texture and mild pleasant scent , but lacked hold , didnt do anything to enhance for my wavy hair , infact seemed to make it less wavy not what i wanted

This item does not pop my curls. It can’t be mixed with other products, eg: leave conditioner, detangler etc. It makes my hair extremely hard and dry. Would not recommend or repurchased and waste of my money.
