I used to love this brand as a kid and in college. The quality has dropped DRAMATICALLY. These pencils never stop breaking, they splinter constantly. I see no difference between these and those crappy pencils you get in goody bags from oriental trading. It’s sad because this company used to make the best mid-range writing pencils. I’ll never buy Ticonderoga again.

nd year purchase and defiantly going to be my last. The first year was just by chance, but nd row is just poor quality control. Not going to be a rd year for me. I purchase these at the beginning of the school year and send a few packs off to the teachers at the school. These pencils are just not worth the price, sure it’s cheap and some may over look my complaint. However, almost every pencil are useless since the lead inside are broken into pieces, I’m tired of sharpening a new pencil out of the box and half the lead will just fall out.. and you will have a inch stub for a pencil. The eraser is also very useless and it doesn’t erase completely and leaves a shadow.. ive seen other reviews with the same issue but gave it a chance since the price is so good and kids go through pencils like air.. mine will go through a pack in a week… but not worth while when more than half the pack is deemed useless… and sharpening pencils is uncomfortable since the ridges are kinda sharp… obviously shipping can’t be blamed, as pencils are shipped worldwide to local stores etc.

These pencils are absolutely terrible. I am so disappointed. I spent good money on my students thinking these would last a while and they wouldn’t even sharpen. The lead is not centered in the wood and all the tip is is wood. Most of them won’t even write!

My children’s school has started requesting these pencils by name at the beginning of every school year. I can understand why. They sharpen easily, write well, and have a nice feel in the hand. The only problem I had was the price. Local stores want so much more for these pencils than for any others. Thank you for charging a reasonable price for a great product.

Purchased these pencils because they were advertised to be made in the USA with cedar wood (the type of pencils I grew up with using in the ‘’s). Anyhow, upon delivery, I opened the package to notice these pencils are not made with Cedar wood and are in fact made in China. False advertising on the sellers end. Pencils are of decent quality but don’t have that cedar smell I was use to back in the day.

Bought these for my middle schooler, and he only wants to use these pencils, as I understand why! These pencils practically have the best erasers! Most kids are hard on erasers and with most pencils the erasers fall out, these hold the erasers all the way down to the end! Kid approved and that’s the only approval I need!

These pencils are hands down the best for classroom use. Ticonderoga pencils sharpen great in any sharpener and last longer than any other pencil.Bargain pencils are no bargain especially the cheap crap from China that breaks and cannot be used in a wall sharpener.

What’s wrong with these pencils? At first I thought it was my pencil sharpener so I switched around but it still had the same issue. I bought these because it was such a good deal for so many pencils and I figured it will last me a few years. I guess these are cheap for a reason! Time to return them!
