– There is an OFF/ON switch. When the switch is on, the tool runs at a lower speed in the beginning, slide the switch to find the speed needed from 3,000 to 20,000rpm. Slide the switch towards OFF for complete stop.
– When finished, turn off the tool and unplug it.
The drill can be used for natural nails as well as artificial nails

It will get the job done. But be careful because it has a really powerful motor and it will give you a temporary numing sinsation!! Hints that the tool is used to either sand nails or the bottom feet or both!! You don’t want to be numb while sanding these delicate areas. I had decided to try the foot buffing attachment and my feet was sore afterwards for about 2 weeks but they where as soft as a babys bottom. So if you’re carful and mindful of the speed you should be ok!!

Stopped working after second use, this electric nail file is VERY cheap. The supplier flat-out refused to replace it or allow for a return
