Must have for pelvic floor exercises
To give a bit of background, I had symphysis pubis dysfunction from 10 weeks of pregnancy, more than 90% of women recover immediately after birth, I did not. After birth I also developed urinary incontinence and had a mild cystocoele or bladder prolapse and I’m only 30!

I have been seeing a pelvic physiotherapist via the NHS since 14 weeks pregnant and my baby is now 16 months, the symphysis pubic dysfunction started to get better when baby was 12/13 months, but the urinary incontinence has really been an issue. I’ve done pelvic floors exercises too and sometimes it has helped but the issue is I have no idea if what I’m doing is correct- am I squeezing to hard or too gently, too long or for too short. I also kept forgetting to do them. With the Elvie trainer I have been doing pelvic floor exercises regularly and not only that I know exactly what I’m doing and I love the little games. It makes what used to be 5 extremely laborious and boring moments into fun and rewarding. I’ve noticed a difference within a week and I’m so relieved. I wish I didn’t wait this long to buy this. It’s been brilliant.

    So glad I bought this
I was sceptical at first but friends kept telling me to try it and I am so glad they did. Easy to use, safe and fun. I love how it tells me that I am not doing my exercises properly. All these years I had been doing them wrong! 2 weeks in a I am definitely noticing the difference

    Elvie Trainer review
I am delighted with my Elvie Trainer, so far.
Starting with attractive packaging to open, the Elvie trainer soft to the touch and easy to use. The instructions are straightforward and simple to follow. I have been using for two weeks now and beginning to see progress. Definitely recommend, looks and feels like it has been designed by women for women.

    COMFORTABLE AND EFFECTIVE
I have just had to replace my original after a few years and certainly did not want to be without it. It is part of my maintenance regime and certainly encourages me to keep up the exercises and tones the little important places. I am over 70 now and have no problems with leakage – coughing or exercise induced – and it does improve one’s sex life! If you don’t use it, you lose it! ( It did take a bit of trial and error to get the right position, i.e. standing, lying, etc. and you do need to keep it charged on a weekly basis or it starts playing up.) Gynae nurses most interested in Scotland as they had not seen it but I understand the NHS in England can advise/provide if you have issues. Why not ask your doctor/nurse when you get the chance?

    Excellent product
I’m in my late 50’s so have been doing pelvic floor exercises for years. This is easy to use and helps you know how well you are doing. There are helpful hints. Finally I think my pelvic floor muscles are getting stronger. It’s definitely worth the initial outlaw

Very easy to use, and helpful app tracks progress
I bought this about 6 weeks ago. It simple to load the app, and after the first time using the product it’s pretty straightforward. I tried it with and without the case, and sadly the case is essential for me, even though I’ve only had one baby. The online gamification of the pelvic floor exercises makes it easier to see how effective they are. Neat product and charger.

Easy to use and making a difference
I’ve had my Elvie for a month now and it’s definitely making a difference. I bought it as I’d experienced leakage quite out of the blue on walks. I’ve not had children but do think menopause has had an impact on my pelvic floor. I tried apps designed for pelvic floor exercises but don’t think they helped. Using Elvie is simple and you know in real time whether you are doing the exercises correctly. It’s worth the expense and only takes a few minutes every other day. I have found the Elvie easy to insert, comfortable and after about a week or so the lifting technique becomes easier to ‘locate’ and do. The charge lasts for ages and the packaging is discrete too. I’m enjoying the competitive element of improvement in strength too.

    Amazing results
I brought this a month ago as I had started back running and noticed that there was a real issue with my pelvic floor. After having 2 children I have always been concious to try and maintain my pelvic floor but never fully committed to it and didn’t ever feel as though I was doing the exercises correctly. However I am so pleased I brought the Elvie trainer, the difference within a month has been incredible and literally life changing. I started off very badly and was quite shocked with the results in the app but 5 weeks in I am now on the intermediate level and can actually feel the difference myself . I can now run and exercise with no issues at all which has amazed me. The app is fun, challenging and really ensures you are performing the exercises correctly which I now know I wasn’t before. I exercise for a few minutes everyday and will continue to do so to maintain a good level of pelvic floor fitness. Love it and have recommended it to all my female friends

    Pleased with the product
still getting used to it – hadn’t realised how poor my pelvic muscle tone had become. Have some work to do – but thankfully Elvie will help with that.
Especially that I can review my progress visually.
