Thick and creamy
So far I’ve been really impressed with the moisturizing this lotion provides. Equate products usually are similar and almost the same as their national counterparts but in this case it has been exceedingly better from a coverage and moisture benefit. Slim packaging looks nice with clean graphics.

This is less costly than its brand name competitors, but just as good a product. In tge shower bathroom I add Vitamin E oil or Olive oil to the bottle for total body use. In powder room, its used to keep hands moisturized and soft. This is affordable enough to buy 2, compared to paying higher price for 1.

Love Equate Lotion
I’ve been using this lotion for years and am very happy with it. I do wish you’d bring back the smaller bottle. It’s easier to use, fits on my bathroom shelf (the pump has to go underneath in the vanity cabinet) and I can get all of the lotion out of the bottle. Now I end up throwing away quite a bit that I can’t get out with the pump. Thank you.

Good buy
Teen has expensive taste in lotions so I made him try this version of the store brand. So far, so good. He hasn’t said he didn’t like it and hasn’t requested to return to his original, so I will consider this a win for now! He tends to have sensitive skin and this hasn’t caused any flare ups.

Frangrance Free Lotion with Plastic Scent
I bought the Equate Advanced Recovery lotion (20.3 oz.) because I needed a moisturizing lotion without the name brand cost. I haven’t been using it long. The Equate lotion is supposed to compare to the Vaseline brand. However, the Equate brand ingredients list petroleum as the 9th ingredient and the lotion has a plastic scent to it. I don’t know if the plastic scent has to do with the cetyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol in the lotion, but it’s supposed to be fragrance free. Equate needs to improve the scent of their fragrance free lotion.

Defective cap. Turned the open arrow on pump cap..nothing! What an inconvenience! Some others commented on the same issue! Test before marketing. Delivered, I can’t get to Walmart without spending $25 ride. I dont recommend. Pouring lotion isnt good for the weight of bottle!

Weird film on skin.
I needed a basic body lotion to fill in until I could get ahold of my regular company. I could not even use this more than once.. maybe twice out of desperation because I have very dry skin. This stuff leaves a funky feeling film on your skin and you do not feel moisturized, more like coated in something that is not meant for skin.
I donated it… I hope whoever got it doesn’t get mad with the donater! lol Sheesh. Uhh… suffice to say… I do not recommend this product.

Overpriced for equate
Like the lotion but the price continues to increase even though it’s equate and a Walmart brand, significantly less expensive in other states.
The point of purchasing off brands is to save money…not be further ripped off in an unaffordable state that will leave you homeless even if you work 80hr weeks and have a degree. What a life!!!!!

Faulty lotion pumps
I love the lotion, but all three of the bottles that I ordered the pump would not work, so I’ve had to unscrew the pump every time I use. it this is not convenient.

Every time I purchase this bottle of lotion, it is very difficult to open. I follow the steps for close and open. I try different ways to open it, but it is almost impossible. It takes too long. So, I usually save the pump/cap from the previous bottle, and I use it instead. I should not have to do this at all. Please make this lotion easier for the consumer to open. Thank you.
