Equate weighted heating pad
This weighted heating pad works great and stays in place. It has small beads in the inside (like a weighted blanket) which is what it allows to stay in place. I have no complaints. It has heat settings from 1-10 and has an option of 2 or 3 hours for the auto shut off.. the cover is quite soft as well. Glad I made this choice.

I love this heating pad ,, but it said not to use in an oxygen environment. My husband uses nasal oxygen nearly 24/7 and I use nasal oxygen at night, so I thought iit best not to buy this heating pad!

Love it!
I have been having horrible back %26 sciatica pain and the only things that helped me were heat and hot showers. I love that this heating pad is weighted so if I choose to lay on my stomach and put it on my back, it stays put and doesn’t move. This product has helped me immensely!

Perfect
This is perfect for my fractured back because I can lay it down because it’s heavy and then I can lay on top of it and it gets warm enough to help me and then I have a sciatica that stabs my whole entire thigh and I can lay it on top of the thigh and I don’t have to push down like I do with regular heating pads. This just waits down and helps me through. It’s easier to maneuver because it’s heavy and it’s not a thin flappy heating pad. It’s perfect.

I liked this so much I had to buy a second and about to buy a third because my teens have taken the first two. It heats up amazingly well. The weight is great. It’s just enough weight and pressure where it doesn’t hurt any injury and is amazing for menstrual cramps. Very highly recommended.

This bonus side of the heating pad is that is it weighed so you can feel the heat a little better, but I don’t feel like it gets hot enough. My son likes it because he is constantly hurting himself and the warmth helps him as he’s not use to anything hot.

Love this heating pad! No regrets!
Pros:
-Well-made.
Cover has good stitching, solid seams. Even if the heating pad, itself, were to happen to go out, I imagine the cover, itself, would remain useable for years to come. Even without the heating pad, the cover might be nice to drape over my lap on a cool day.
-Washable cover.
This is a HUGE plus! While heating pad covers don’t tend to get icky, things can happen. Knowing I can toss the cover into the washer is rather a relief!
-Perfect weight.
This helps hold in the heat where it’s needed, and adds extra soothing comfort, while not being burdensomely heavy.
-Very soft.
Feels very nice against the skin, yet doesn’t collect things. I have a dog with long, fluffy hair that likes to cling to a lot of fabrics this soft, but whatever this fabric is doesn’t attract hair (or lint, etc). That’s a big plus in my world!
-10 heat settings.
Sometimes I want it really, really warm. Sometimes not so much. Having 10 settings lets me find just the right level of warmth for my need at the time.
-Adjustable off timer.
Most modern heating pads have a set auto-shut-off at 2 hours. This one allows you to bump that up or down by an hour (so you can choose 1, 2 or 3 hours before it shuts off). I really appreciate having some options here!
-A Must for younger women.
This would’ve been perfect back when I was young enough for “Aunt Flo” to visit. I remember pressing down on the heating pads I had back then, to try to get it to make full contact to help a bit better. Anyone who has this unruly monthly “visitor” will LOVE this heating pad!
-Good size
This covers my entire back. Love that!
-Well priced!
At $24.98, I have a pretty hard time having any problem with the very, very minor drawbacks.
Cons:
-No memory of previous settings.
More often than not, I want one, specific temperature setting (8 is just right for me most of the time). Unfortunately, it “forgets” the setting I put it on and defaults to 1 (one), so I have to set it each and every time I use it. Minor inconvenience, but this heating pad being able to “remember” the previous setting would be a welcome improvement.
Same “forgetting” of the auto-shut-off timer. It defaults to 2 each time.
-May not stay in place.
A little drawback to the combination of weight and softness is that, for some uses, it’s difficult to get it to stay put. I’ve got a bad back and like to use a heating pad while sitting in between chores to bring down the pain a bit. The weight feels fantastic, but I do find myself re-adjusting it every few minutes, as it tends to slide down. I’m thinking of adding a couple of straps to the top so I can slide my arms into them to help keep the pad in place better when using it this way. If you’re handy with a sewing machine (or even a needle and thread), this might be a good option for you, if you find you use it similarly (just be sure to remove the case from the pad before attaching anything. Last thing ya’ need is running a needle through the actual heating pad, itself!).

Size definitely lacks
While I do love the fact this heating pad is weighted and feels comfortable versus standard heating pads, the size is lackluster at best. For reference, I’m 5’0” and 125lbs…not a big person by any means, and this doesn’t cover my back. Great for period cramping or lay across lower back or even top shoulders/neck, but if you’re looking for full back coverage, look elsewhere.

Never gets hot- only warm!
I wish I would’ve returned the heating pad in a timely manner. It never ever gets hot, only warm! What kind of purpose does it serve if it is only warm and doesn’t even even get your blood flowing. It is plush, and I love the weighted feel of it, but it is a waste.

Heavy but not a hot heating blanket
This pad is heavy. I would not classify it as a heating pad because it doesn’t get hot. It gets warm at its highest level, level 10. This level of warmth is welcomed at times but it is not a level 10 heat. This is more like a level 5 heat at its highest setting.
The buttons are large and are easy to navigate. I am only guessing it can shut down at or around 2 hours as my wife complained it was no longer warm approximately 2 hours after we opened the box and used it.
I would recommend another brand or type of heating pad if heat is what you are desiring. The weight of this blanket does bring some comfort until you try and move it. My wife found the weight of the blanket desirable, however, I found it made very little difference to me and was more of an inconvenience to move around. The size of this heating blanket could have been a tad bit larger for my taste, but the measurements of the blanket are listed and they are correct.
I will be returning this blanket.
