I used to use an empty, seven up liter bottle for hot water bottle uses, but decided to finally buy a regular one (I’m happy with the price), the kind my parents had.
So far no issues, and we had a particularly cold winter, so it really helped to warm up the bed.

BOUGHT 3 OF THEM TO KEEP MY CATS WARM ON MY BED
Rather than use an electric blanket, I bought 3 of these and I put hot water in them and put them under the top quilt of my bed. My two cats sleep on the bed with me and they lay against them and they keep them warm throughout the night. I wish they didn’t have the raised layered ribbing on the sides though. The one I use inside my bed is larger and is smooth. You can get closer to the heat if they’re smooth. The raised ribbing doesn’t allow you to touch where the heat is. But overall great bottles for the price.

Great for all kinds of minor aches sore muscles. Water is to hot I recommend wrap a towel around bottle prevent from being burned.Bottle is well made.The cap is screw on prevent from leaking.I filled bottle with hot tap water 60 minutes later still warm.

Nice hot water bottle product and no leaks
This is a pretty nice design with a rubber seal mating to a molded metal insert. Not at all like the drug store junk with plastic stopper that leaks after only a few uses. My wife uses a hot water bottle every night, and this is the perfect no leaking solution.

What can be said? It is a Hot Water bottle, I use it to relieve occasional leg cramps while in bed. I bought two and the are well made and the ideal size.

Haven’t used one of these in a long time and sometimes heating pads are a lot of trouble. Fortunately I found these and you cannot beat the value.

The funny snap closure on the top is hard to snap
I thought this would be like the other water bottles that my mom uses for her arthritis. This one was a complicated bottle. In order for you to close it, you have to “snap” it up. The water (very hot) can still leak out. I would not ever buy this again. It should have had a screw on cap. 🙁
