The set was well packaged and organized. You get 10 student booklets and one teacher’s book of each subject. The ink in the students’ book is light. If you were on the fence about buying your first reading glasses this may make you buy them. The teacher’s book has darker ink. The units correlate pretty well to each other. If you begin your school year in mid August or beginning September, Christ’s birth in the Bible subject comes up in December. Sometimes the layout is inconvenient. For example, look at a list of words and answer these questions, and you have to flip the page back to look at the list, which is distracting. The books require more writing than my fourth grader wants to do, and I have cut him some slack by, for example, he only has to write down the spelling words he can’t spell aloud. It is a lot to pay at once, but if you break down the cost per booklet it is reasonable in this economy. I would buy it again.
