My 5th grader loves it!
I cannot speak to longevity of this pencil pouch as we have recently purchased it, but it seems durable enough to hold up to my 10 year old boy. There’s a flap on top of the pouch that uses a metal snap button to hold in place. I can see that getting misused and possibly breaking at some point. All of the zippers seem sturdy. The middle pouch appears roomy and the 2 flaps have sewn in bands that few pencils or pens can fit into. As a side note, I think this pouch can be used as a toiletry bag as well. If your kid is into Minecraft, I would recommend this pencil pouch.

Cool little heavy duty case
The case is great. The graphics are nice and the actual pencil case pouch is attached via a Velcro strip inside the hard outer pouch. -*see photos . Hopefully will last us all of K.
