Great shredder. Shreds paper with ease.
This shredder truly takes care of business. I’ve not tried 12 sheets, but I have done 6-7 and it chews the paper up with no effort. Don’t buy those ten dollar shredders that get hot after the first three sheets. I’ve not put it to the limit, but it is supposed to continuously shred for 7 minutes.

The shredder jammed the first time I used it. My husband my hero went to work unjamming it. Be cautious of the paper being fed in the shredder investment and insurance documents are not the everyday day copy paper weight. If it is a 12 page shredder and you are shredding insurance and investment docs you probably should shred 6 pages at a time.

Works Well!
I really like the fold-down handle. It makes it easier to hold on to the top part when emptying the wastebasket. And it’s a little less noisy than my old one.

Well, the first one went up in smoke using it for the first time but Walmart made good and sent me a new one ASAP. The 2nd one works great. Worth it.

Had the festures I wanted (crosscut/quiet action/can take 12 @ a time, size fits in well, and Walmart had this same model nearly half the price of another store). It’s a keeper!

Decent value. Pen Gear 12-Sheet Cross cut
My last shredder lasted 24 years with regular use, (and maintenance) I’ve only had this new shredder over a week and so far, I’m happy with it except I would prefer having a larger window view of how much shred is collected inside the container. I’m still getting used to the sound of the crosscut function, crosscut is definitely better than the old straight cut shred.

Good value for the money. Does what it needs to do. 12-Sheet capacity provides plenty of shredding power for home or home-office use. The one nice feature to add would be wheels on the bottom to facilitate easy moving.
