Easy Peasy
The calculator is easy to use right out of the package. Buttons are big enough to see and use and fits most fingers both young and old easily. I love that the battery should last for ages as it is powered by light. It has all the functions I need from day to day. Sort of not very relevant these days as everyone has a similar calculator on their phone, but nice to have around the house.

Great Calculator!
I absolutely love this handheld calculator! It’s so well made, but it’s super light! I can just toss it in my work bag and take it anywhere I go. It’s solar powered so I don’t have to worry about the battery running out. The display is clear and bright and the numbers are easy to push. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Perfect Elementary Essential Calculator
Thanks so much, Pen+Gear and Home Tester Club, for allowing me to try out the Pen+Gear 8 Digit Handheld Calculator in exchange for my earnest review. This handy calculator is pocket-sized and offers the ability to compute all elementary math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, percentages, square roots, and much more. It holds up to 8 digits across the screen. This lightweight, ultra portable calculator is perfect for the student and adult alike. I often find myself calculating multiple aspects of math at once, so it is extremely handy to have an extraneous calculator in addition to my phone. This perfect little calculator will get heavy use in our household. I also love the soft black buttons against a white calculator. This design is both unique and attractive. I highly recommend this nifty little math tool for the entire household.

Super easy to use 8 Digit Handheld Calculator by Pen+ Gear. I love the portability and the large buttons making it easy for small or large hands to use. I use it daily at work for a quick use calculator when doing reports and managing percentages. I find it quicker and easier then using my cell phone. This calculator is very useful.
It does any basic math function a regular person would need. It’s super lightweight making it easily portable. It’s small enough for a handbag or something like it but big enough to clearly see where the buttons are. It is dual powered (battery and solar). Really handy calculator.

My daughter is allowed to use only a basic calculator at school, and this one is perfect for her. It performs all the standard calculator functions and is straightforward and reliable. Since it’s solar-powered, the battery will last a very long time, and it has an off button that allows you to turn it off when not in use. This is a great back-to-school item for kids. Nice and handy
These days everyone has a calculator in their pockets. I’m talking about your smartphones. So the use case scenarios for an actual calculators are slim. But you know who can use an old school calculator? School kids. So I gave this to my 4th grader and told him to get off his gadgets and learn how to use a real calculator. So here is his feedback. The buttons are a little stiff. The screen is bright and adequate. But it can do all the stuff a standard calculator can do.

Great handheld, dual powered calculator!
I received this 8 Digit Handheld Calculator from Home Tester Club and I’ve been using it daily. I like that it’s not bulky, it’s in my hand and the perfect size to keep in my bag. it’s lightweight enough to carry around on job sites too. I do a lot of site plan surveying for work, and this has honestly made quick calculations so much easier. The only complaint I really have is not a design flaw, I have naturally fat fingers so I do have to make sure I look at every number when pressing to ensure correct measurements. I do appreciate the dual power feature though, I love that it’s both battery and solar powered. which gives me peace of mind that it won’t die on me when I need it most! It’s a lot better than the bulky ones I use in the office. This handheld 8 digit calculator is simple, reliable, and does exactly what I need. Great for kids to use at school, adults in the office, or even while grocery shopping (as Ive done several times) recommend to anyone who needs a compact device!

Reliable calculator
This calculator is super lightweight and small so it’s easy to keep out on my desk during the workday since it doesn’t take up much space. I often need to do basic math during work and like having this so I don’t have to use my phone calculator and end up distracted. It does everything I need it to do! It does feel pretty flimsy but has worked well so far, just something to be aware of because it may not be the most durable option.
