I love that this doesn’t add extra junk in. There’s no artificial color and no fever reducer. I just wanted something to get rid of my chest congestion and this did the trick. Also happy that there’s no alcohol and no sugar. It is a good, safe medicine that takes care of my problem.

Great Cough Relief
This product helped me so much when I was sick. It allowed me to sleep by giving me relief from my cough. I also loved that it was safe to use since I have high blood pressure, loved that it didn’t taste bad, it wasn’t overly sweet, that it’s clear, so no staining from accidental spills, and loved that it didn’t make me drowsy, and didn’t upset my stomach. I recommended it to my family, and I would definitely buy it again.

I have diabetes %26 HBP… I take this @ night before bed. Helps with my cough when laying down….do not have to sleep on wedge, which disturbed my sleep.

Safetussin DM is unflavored which, if you are like me and do not like flavored cough syrup will make you happy. I have high blood pressure and been usingDia Safetussin DM for over a year. Grant you No cough syrup is easy to swallow, but it does not have fake flavoring. It looks like water, clear, and goes down easy.

My experience has been greater than expectations!
This product has been great for us COPD sufferers that have Blood Pressure and type 11 Diabetes and I have personally made my Pulmonary Specialist aware of it for other patients!

Alcohol Free, not sugary and assists in low BP
This product does not taste sugary like most cough medicines. It works perfectly. I recommend you give this to your children rather than all the sugary cough medicines that they put out there. There
is a special dosage four children labeled on the container.

Safetussin for high blood pressure and diabetes
My husband and I both take Safetussin DM Cough Chest Congestion, Cough and Cold, for High Blood Pressure %26 Diabetes. We both have high blood pressure and are pre-diabetic.
The Walmart price is much lower than the prices at two local pharmacies. It is very effective and quiets your cough, especially at night when you are trying to sleep. The 10 mg of dextromethorphan quiets your cough and the 100 mg of Guaifenesin thins the mucus.

Didn’t cure my cough
I tried the Safetussin DM Cough Chest Congestion for my recent cold, and it did provide some relief in terms of easing chest congestion and helping me breathe a bit easier. I appreciate that it’s specifically formulated for people with high blood pressure and diabetes, which is why I chose it. The syrup has a mild taste, not too overpowering, and it didn’t cause any issues with my blood pressure or blood sugar levels.
However, while it helped with congestion, I didn’t find that it fully got rid of my persistent cough. It seemed to reduce the severity a bit, but my cough lingered longer than I had hoped. That being said, I do think it’s a solid option for anyone needing a safer product for managing symptoms related to high blood pressure and diabetes.
Overall, it works well for congestion, but it didn’t completely resolve my cough. Still, I would recommend it for those with specific health concerns who need a more gentle, effective product. I’m giving it 4 stars due to its overall effectiveness but wish it had worked a little better for my cough.

Not sure if it’s just me but Im not a small person I’m 6ft 180 pounds and I had the recommend dosage 1 time sat 10 pm after eating so I was not on an empty stomach . I woke up at 7 am dizzy and unable to stand with bad nausea causing me to vomit I then called out of work and woke up at 930 am and still feel the same way
