I love this deodorant because it goes on very easy and does not leave white marks, etc. on my clothes. It protects me all day and then some. Smells great too!

Great aluminum free deodorant.
Since the aluminum in deodorant and other personal care products is potentially bad for you and might lead to neurodegenerative disorders, I only buy aluminum free deodorant for my preteen, teens, young adult children.
Our favorite scents are coconut vanilla and peach, but we have liked the cotton and the cucumber as well. We only use the solid and have not tried the gel versions.
We have not had any skin irritation. I suspect that irritated skin from shaving too closely or with a dull/old razor could predispose toward irritation, but we have never had a problem. The kids don’t shave under their arms, but do have sensitive young skin.
After reading some reviews, it occurs to me that many people have unrealistic expectations. Please note that this is NOT intended to be antiperspirant. It is not supposed to keep you dry. Aluminum keeps you dry by clogging your pores…. This aluminum free deodorant inhibits bacterial growth that causes odor but heavy sweating people will need to apply more often. It does work, just not as thoroughly as the toxic products. Also, bathing daily is a necessity, especially if you are using healthier alternatives like aluminum free deodorant. Bottom line: This deodorant works great if you reapply after doing something sweaty, and you bathe daily. It does not keep you dry. It is deodorant, not antiperspirant.

I love Secret Aluminum free. I prefer the Coconut scent but it was unavailable when I placed my order. I was pleasantly surprised with the sweet smell of the peach and the scent also lasts all day! Way to go Secret!

Long Lasting
Long lasting and makes you feel fresh n clean after you shower and put it on. I’ve tried a lot of different deodorants and I do mean from expensive to the cheap kinds and I’d say this is in between in pricing and it’s one of the best ones I’ve found.

Aluminum free saving me from breast cancer
Love this scent. Aluminum free is the only way to go for deodorant. The only thing is you do have to apply twice a day. I’m willing to do that to keep me healthier.

Staple deodorant but NOT an antiperspirant
Doesnt work for my pits because I live in Florida and need an antiperspirant. I wish Secret would make an aluminum free antiperspirant because this formula is a great deodorant. I use it for my bikini line %26 if you are a bbw you should use it in all your folds as well to maintain a great fresh scent all day. Unfortunately only aluminum antiperspirant seems to work long term for my pits so I continue to use the regular secret for that. The non aluminum antiperspirant that actually do work give me chemical burns from the baking soda so I pray Secret shows them how it’s really done 1 day

Smelled good, but gave me rash
it smelled good. I believe it did help, however it gave me a rash everytime I used it. I do have sensitive skin, so if you have sensitive skin this may not be for you.

I should have done my research!
I purchased this deodorant for 2 reasons. Number one, I had an amazing Ibotta rebate and number two, my family has been trying to live healthier. I had read many articles regarding the chemicals and aluminum in most deodorant’s and with both reasons above falling into place one fateful day, I went for it. What I neglected to research was what happens when you switch from an aluminum and chemical based deodorant to an aluminum free deodorant. It started with me noticing that I had body odor mid day, which has never happened unless I forgot to put on deodorant that day. Next my under arms started itching badly! Again, I just chalked it up to razor burn. However, a day or so ago I noticed that my armpits were not pleasant smelling, I’m talking I was sitting on my couch and kept smelling rotten onions. My brain finally decided I needed to look more into this aluminum free deodorant and lo and behold I found all the issues I described above as a normal “detox” when making the switch. I went straight back to my aluminum and chemical filled deodorant. I hope this review helps just one person not have to suffer through the smell and itching (omg the itching is so bad!) that I did. All is well now and I only have myself to blame for not looking into it before deciding I was gonna make the switch, but I now have a war story of how I survived aluminum free deodorant! Just beware of the “detox” period and you will be good!

Do Not Buy if Allergic to Metals!!!
I’m allergic to aluminum zirconium, nickel and other metals. I was hopeful about this deodorant. It has left me in terrible pain. I’m having an allergic reaction that has caused a rash under both underarms. It’s embarrassing. Please do a better job at making sure your deodorant are actually free of the metals you are claiming to be free from on the front of your packaging!

Painful lumps in both armpits
I’m sitting here at 5am on a Sunday morning, been awake all night in so much pain in both armpits, my left armpit has 4 different painful lumps, right armpit thankfully has only 1. I’ve been using this deodorant for almost a week and this is the horrible result. If and when I’m able to even use deodorant again I’ll go back to regular Secret or Dove. Who knows what this will end up costing me, financially and physically speaking. I’m not allergic to anything, never have been and I’m in my 40s, I don’t have sensitive skin. What ever is in this deodorant is very very bad for me!
