I bought this calculator before the back to school season started so it was readily in stock and at a pretty good price! The calculator itself was the standard for my school so it was nothing too fancy but it gets the job done. It is perfect for its price!

    Calculator in a pinch
During the recent ice storm I was locked out of college the week before finals. All of my study materials were in my locker, including my calculator.
I was able to order this inexpensive calculator online through Walmart for same day pickup, making it possible to study over the weekend for my math final the following Monday. Got my A by 2 points.
The ease of this transaction, as well as the low price were, I think, important parts of the stars lining up for that A.
Great little calculator for the price, as well.

This is a high quality calculator for my math students. You also had the lowest prices that helped a lot getting a class set.

    Good math calculator
Use this calculator for junior high math as it was the product recommended for the class. Texas Instruments calculators are my favorite to use and preform well.

good but you better know how to use it
calculator is very versatile. I’m not an engineer or engineering student but needed to do some science/engineering calculations. The documentation with the calculator is USELESS. There is no good information from either the paperwork with the calculator or on the TI website to help. I found a number of youtube videos that pointed me in the right direction to learning the calculator. If you are in a class with an instructor who can walk you through the various functions you’ll be fine. If you are already knowledgeable about scientific calculators, no issue. Other wise start looking for someone or something to explain how to use this good device.

good alternative to the more expensive calculators
We were needing the TI-83 calculator but I simply can’t afford it so I bought this after careful review. It does 95% of everything my 8th grader needs with the exception of graphing and there is no matrix function which my older daughter needs. However, it works very well, easy to use and comes out of the pack ready to go. As I said it doesn’t do it all, but it’s a great inexpensive substitute and the middle and high schoolers can benefit from this one.

Save your money; go for better
Okay as a scientific or basic calculator, but the statistical data entry is pathetic. While the tools for stats can be used, you would be better off spending a couple of dollars more for the TI30XS Multiview for stat calculations and easy data entry.

I don’t have them. Can’t be satisfied with something that hasn’t arrived and later than it was supposed to.

    Minimum functionality.
Really hate this calculator. Had to buy it for school because it was required, but fully recommend the TI-36X Pro instead of this. This calculator feels cheap, fragile, and easy to break. Has minimal functionality and the way it handles fractions is irritating. Horrible device. 10/10 do not recommend.

    Mistreated package
The driver walked up my neighbor’s driveway cut through my grass threw the package between my bushes so that it landed in my walkway. (not on my doorstep) kicked it between the bushes so that it got a little bit closer, took a picture and walked away. I know this because I watched him through the camera I have mounted in my front window.
