COLOR PREVIEW TEST: Your hair color results can be affected by relaxers, permanent waving, over exposure to the sun, previous coloring and other factors. This test will show the new color in advance. Snip a swatch of hair at the scalp 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide and secure end with tape. Dip the swatch into the color test mixture (the same color mixture used for the Preliminary Skin Test), making sure each strand is saturated. Wait 25 minutes, rinse well, then shampoo and let the swatch dry. This is the color you will get when you use CREME OF NATURE Permanent Creme Gel Hair Color throughout the entire head of hair. However, results may vary depending on the different conditions of the hair. 1. Preparation Choose Full Color application if you are: A. Coloring hair for the first time B. Re-coloring after 4 or more months C. Selecting a new shade of color FULL COLOR APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS A. Assemble color products B. Drape towel over shoulders for protection C. Put on gloves D. Mix CREME OF NATURE Permanent Creme Gel Hair Color into bottle containing CREME OF NATURE Creme Color Developer. Recap bottle containing color mixture and shake until color mixture is totally blended. Point away from face while shaking. 2. Apply FULL-HEAD APPLICATION Apply color mixture immediately after mixing. Part hair into four sections for ease of application. Apply color mixture to dry hair starting at the front. Use the tip of the bottle to section hair into four sections and then apply color mixture using 1/2 inch partings.Use fingertips to work the color mixture into a foam so that each strand is thoroughly covered. For total distribution of color mixture, apply from roots to ends. NOTE: If gray, begin application where there is more gray hair. Pile hair loosely on top of head with a plastic clip. If color mixture gets on skin, rinse with cool water. IF GOING LIGHTER: Apply color mixture starting 1/2 inch away from scalp out through ends of the thin sections. Follow this application procedure for each section. Allow color to process for 10-15 minutes. Next, apply color mixture to scalp area and allow to process for the recommended time or until color is even. IF MATCHING OR DEEPENING NATURAL HAIRCOLOR: Apply color mixture to hair from roots to ends of the sections. Follow this application procedure for each of the sections. Use as much of the color mixture as necessary to thoroughly saturate the hair. Work into hair, but do not rub into scalp. (Note: the color of the product is not the color results.) 3. Set Timer & Wait Based on the condition of the hair, leave color mixture on hair as indicated. Chemically-treated hair 25 minutes Natural hair 30 minutes Gray or resistant hair 30 minutes 4. Rinse & Shampoo A. When time has expired, add a little warm water to hair and work color mixture into a lather. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. If color mixture comes in contact with eyes, rinse immediately with cool water. B. After rinsing hair, shampoo. Lather and rinse shampoo from hair. 5. Condition & Rinse Apply Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment to hair. Leave on hair for 5-10 minutes and rinse thoroughly. 6. Style Snap off plastic top of Argan Oil Treatment ampoule to open. Pour into hand then apply through out damp or dry hair. For best results, use entire contents. Style as desired. Retouch Application Choose Retouch Application if you have colored your hair 4 to 8 weeks previously with same shade. A. Follow Step 1 (Preparation) in the Full Color section B. New growth (Roots touch-up) Using the tip of the color bottle, part hair in four sections. Apply color mixture to new growth at root area. Apply color mixture from front to back using 1/2 inch partings. C. Set Timer Leave color mixture on new growth according to Step 3. D. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style. ©
