I bought this calculator for my daughter for back to school but was honestly skeptical about its functionality due to its price. So of course my curiosity caused me to open it as soon as it arrived! Well, I was pleasantly surprised…it worked well. A very satisfied customer.

I was actually looking for a graphing calculator when I spotted this gym for four dollars and some change. I grabbed it just to have. I have a highschooler who is in need of calculators every year for some strange reason. If they disappear, it’s better to have only paid four bucks for it. It’s just like the more expensive ones with all the bells and whistles. Walmart is my favorite place to shop online. You can find some of anything being sold by Walmart and other locations and shop for the best deals!

Great Calculator for the Price
It appeared to be a great little calculator for a student. Perfect size and in expensive should it get lost or dropped. Inexpensive to replace. I actually returned it because my grandson only needed a basic calculator for school. I bought the basic style in the same brand.

Happily surprised with this purchase. It was shipped quickly and it does everything that a “fancy” scientific calculator does that the school is asking for, for 1/3 of the price.

to replace the battery (****) you have to totally take the back off, and then the keys all fall out and get jumbled up. this unit was not designed to make battery replacement easy, even though the first thing the instructions say is that the battery may be weak from storage and shipping, so they certainly expect the user to have to replace the battery.

you can tell its cheap but I have 6 kids and it does what it needs to do. has a weird electrical smell that comes from the battery area. gotta ask my husband if thats normal

Bought for backpack drive
Our church is collecting backpacks for needy students. I bought calculators for the junior high ones. The price was right and it came quickly. I didn’t open it.

Settings issues, poor instructions
The instructions are very poor. There’s no key, for example, to explain what a lot of the different things that appear on the screen actually mean, such as when a tiny black box with an “S” in it appears over the text. It has a lot of modes, but only explains what about 1/2 of them do in the instruction manual. At some point, ours started reading all decimal answers in scientific notation, to ^(-3). We’re not sure what caused this, but we followed the directions for how it said to change all the settings back to default, but decimal answers were still being given in the ^(-3) format.
