These are the BEST!
Shocking that it took so long for these to come to be, but I am geateful! After 30, my petiod became a NIGHTMARE. I Wish these were available then. Still, now, on a heavy day, I wouldn’t dare go out, but they’re not useless. All the others are useless. These could last 1-2 hours. WITH heavy period panties, I feel safe enough to sleep in my bed without destroying all my bedding – at the worst possible time to be sleep deprived %26 doing laundry. Anyone else think it’s obscene the world doesn’t revolve around Women, Women’s needs, Our Uterus, Our Cycles? I think so. No one would be here to have forgotten to take care us without us. Right? But I disgress. Buy these. They’re better than that aweful “pearl string”.

ULTRA Absorption by Platex is a WINNER!
For the ladies with HEAVY flow NOTHING is BETTER than a PLATEX tampon. If you wear a pad %26 tampon at night just so you don’t leak… Then ULTRA is the absorption for you! When Platex added this absorption to their lineup, it was a no-brainer to try and it was the best thing that ever happened to me!

Comfortable and works with better grip
I can go through an ultra tampon and pad in an hour. Yes I know if this happens talk to your Dr. My dr said it was fine. But these are the only thing that works. I over flow smaller tampons and pads simply because the flow is just too fast. Better than U by kotex and Tampax which leak through the strings and the grips on inserters do not work at all. Plus the fact that playtex opens like a flower it catches everything. U open like a wide accordion which is not how women are shaped. So fits better catches more and is more comfortable.

Where have these been all my life? Now I can sleep all night without needing to change (light flow). The Super has me getting up at least once a night. I sleep all night with the Ultra! Literally, thank you for making these.

Flow no Mo’
After having 3 kids I found the natural progression in life was for my uterus to hate me for not making 10 more. I thought super plus was where it ended for the Day 2 death flow (no worries it’s only Day 2 where I die and then I’m fine and it’s not every month) until I found out they make an Ultra tampon. Now, this is not for the faint of heart. This is for a well seasoned stretched out sock that can hold a pringles sized roll of cotton. The applicator is clear because the cost to make it the classic solid green would likely bankrupt them. If you’re a mom with a serious flow, look no more. This will hold back the dam for a solid hour if not 2. When it’s not my heaviest flow day this dude can easily last several hours if not a whole work day if you overshot your guessing game. With that said I’d still recommend only using this for an actual heavy flow since plugging one hole with this sausage will squish the other (aka the Backdoor). I’ll forever keep a box of these ready on hand til the day my uterus dries up and dies or I have it surgically cut out and thrown in the garbage can. Thanks playtex!

I’m just gonna say these hold up pretty good if your time of the month is heavy. I also wear a pad with these in case of leaking for extra protection and I use Always Infinite pads which are the best!

I mean… it does what its supposed to; but
I love the sport tampons, I feel they work great. The applicator shape and grip and plunger and the way they move with you, fantastic!
However, the applicator for the Ultra size, sucks, it is NOT the same. The plunger, falls off most the time before I can even insert the tampon and because it wont even stay together I have a hard time gripping it with my arthritic hands. also, the shape of it is different, so not only is it more difficult to insert it is also uncomfortable to insert.
I have used the other sizes, and this is not an issue. the applicator for the smaller sizes is comfortable, both to hold and insert and is 100% functional. but for whatever reason, the ball was dropped for the ultra size.

The best protection available, especially if you’re active! I know Tampons were invented by a man AND, I don’t care… They’re the BEST INVENTION EVER!!! I absolutely refuse to use pads, cups, panties or any of the other items that allow you to feel the disgusting gush that accompanies a period… It’s the worst feeling ever!!! And, NONE of those other items are Hygienic, PERIOD!!! Playtex has always been “My Brand” bc they’ve always been available w plastic applicators that allow for smoother, more comfortable insertion while the other brands only offered cardboard or no applicator options!? I will NEVER use anything else!!!

These are just okay. The string is not thick enough when needing to remove the tampon after use. I also have heavy periods and these would leak and the cotton was not even fully absorbed. I usually buy Tampax Ultra tampons and decided to try these because they were a little cheaper and for being active. They’re ok but I would not buy them again. I will use the remaining ones I have but will stick with Tampax for my needs.

Better than bleeding out I guess?
Did its job for the most part, I’m highly doubting what it claims to hold however. The applicator is kind of horrible feeling though. It’s also very flimsy and the bottom tube likes to fall out before inserting. I wish I could say it was a one off, but I’ve tried a few boxes and the quality has been downhill.
Wouldn’t recommend for “new users” because of that.
