great pencils, esp for price
Used this in my sketchbook in Barcelona after meeting an uppity young thing named Violet. i sketched her using these pencils. The quality, exquisite. often i lay awake at night thinking of her, before reaching for my Royal and Langnickel 5pc mechanical pencil set to draw once more.

I purchased this item expecting something else, I failed to read the specific use of this item and it wasn’t what I was looking for, again it wasn’t the item.

So listen, this is my FAVORITE pencil for drawing right now. I have pencils that I’ve paid way too much for that don’t begin to compare with this one. So why the shortage of stars? Because try as I might I CANNOT FIND REFILLS. In fact I’ve bought this pencil set twice because I ran out of the graphite pieces that came with it. Hopefully Royal and Langnickle have a solution to the refill issue because I don’t want another brand of graphite or eraser because these are PERFECT. I’ll edit my review should refills become available.
I want to point out the best feature on this clutch;
If you remove the eraser end(twists off) ..it is a sharpener for the graphite.. I use the shavings (graphite powder) for shading and skin detailing etc. I don’t understand why this feature isn’t mentioned on the packaging !
The eraser is also fantastic!
