Effective, compact, inexpensive
Have had it for a month, have sharpened/touched up all household scissors, pocket knives, and small/paring kitchen knives. Have even used to extend the life of utility knife blades. Doesn’t replace high-grade resharpening, but very handy, well-designed for safety, and compact %26 inexpensive enough to buy one for the kitchen drawer and another for a carry-around tool bucket.

Good for knives not so sure about scissors
I sharpened all my knives as soon as I received the sharpener. I can confirm that it works very well as I sliced a whole piece of my thumb while chopping cilantro a few minutes later.
As for scissors, I didn’t really feel any difference. The part to sharpen scissors is a bit awkward to use so maybe I didn’t do a great job.

It is okay but I don’t feel the sharpness in the scissor blades after I use the tool. I don’t see much difference in cutting. Therefore, the three stars.
